This OEX week is historically the best week of the year to be long.

Out on the retest of prior high.
3% for 3 days and move on.
Nothing wrong with that.  A lot of my option sells are working out like that lately.  A couple % return in a few days and back out.  It's getting hard to find a place to put it back if I'm in a hurry when the cash position is growing.

Sold a few new VSTO puts to replace the old ones expiring worthless again. This one will likely be on my list for our forum stock competition. I think it has a 50% year ahead of it. In the meantime the option premiums are fat.

I have been tracking/backtesting their buys for ARKK and ARKW, sure looks very promising. Many, many times their buys get a 10-20%+ bump in a very short time frame. I haven't gone live yet but will come the new year.

Thanks, that is a decent spec strategy imo. They have the spec traders attention.  I am adding a few of the ARK ETFs and planned to do just as you suggest.  No way I can properly research most of these.  Some of these funds are primed for a big pullback so I am going slow on the actual ETF build.

Regarding the funds, I have resting orders 10% below the highs and and another order (twice the size) @ 15% off the highs.

Trying to test if the spec trades could be income trades while I wait. (no volume on the funds' puts)

I am going to nibble just a few funds shares on any dip for now and get them in my face.  I can be a little patient.  They will get whacked soon enough.  It's inevitable at current valuations.  And the gamblers will run right back after they lick their wounds.   The individual stocks will randomly run higher most likely if ARK keeps buying them at all, which is likely IMO.

Bought TQQQ at the close. 98% probability it will be profitable within 5 days.

I've been busy and missing most of the trading fun.  Other than my accidental monster throw down buy of BABA on Christmas Eve lol.

ETSY up another 5.5% this morning and a new all-time high.

Still just a $27B market cap company...
