I own 170 shares of a somewhat unconventional REIT called Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure. (HASI) provides structured finance products for renewable energy and infrastructure development. They went public in 2013 but they have a longer history as a privately held company. Being close to this industry myself, I appreciate the growth potential of what they're doing.
