If you missed the ending of the LA-SF game you got to see it. Ouch what a bad call.

When you are not sure the default call is no swing happened. It's the appeals process, the home plate ump did not call a strike so the 1B ump needs to be sure the home plate ump missed it. It's not a 51-49 well maybe thing IMO. Horrible way to end a playoff series.

1 down, 3 more to go. Great game. Altuve and Correa show

Do I have to endure the Braves chop song with the Astros on the trash can drums?
There is still time to prevent this Ken.

There's still lots of series left, but it's hard to win when your ace is injured. That said, the rest of the Astros starting pitching is not that of years past, and I suspect Greinke will be lit up tonight as well.
The most surprising game so far of this postseason for the Red Sox, to me, was actually the first game against the Rays. Shane McClanahan and relievers shut out the Red Sox, which is very hard to do. Other than that our playoff low so far is 4 runs.

Nah it's over. Once the Stros Lost McCullers, there workhorse and experience they were doomed. Injuries to Garcia also bad news. Baker not a fan of and he's never been good at managing a bullpen or lineup. Hopefully this is his last year in Houston and he retires lol. Altuve is now lost, errors killed us or this would have been a completely different series now. The Sox will be celebrating on Wed night. Congrats
The Sox aren't even that great but they play well as a team. Other then Devers and Bogarts there's not one other player I would want on my fantasy team lol. Kike is playing out of his ass and he struggled for most of the year. Just got hot at the right time of the year and that's all it takes in the playoffs. Have to say never saw them even getting past the Yankess lol The network always wanted SOX and Dodgers in the world series for ratings... But the Braves may ruin that

They will wreck a pitching staff. If the Astros had that Ace they've had in the past they would probably be the favorites to win in 5-6. I said early that I thought the AL East would represent the AL. Surviving a division with four teams good enough to be in the playoffs usually pays off. Unlike the White Sox. They were solid, but playing 120 games against AAA+ level talent doesn't prepare you. You can throw out all the stats and all that nonsense. Boston starting pitching ERA was 4.27 yikes and the Stros was 3.78. So like I said regular season means nothing. Tell me who on the Sox staff scares you as a hitter? No one. Sure if Sale was himself but he couldn't even strike out you right now Its all luck and once you get it going and are in the zone that's all it takes. Has nothing to do with strength of schedule. Hell the Stros had to face the M's and A' s as well all year. I think the Sox are pulling a trick out of the Astros book and stealing signs And in this day and age everyone knows what pitch is coming. I mean come on teams all allowed iPads in the dugout and go over what the pitcher throws. I think its ridiculous baseball has taken away what the stars of yesterday built. Baseball is by far my favorite sport as I played in college and was drafted. But the sport now is a joke. But I'm not worried. The Astros will find a way to win the series. Greinke hopefully will give them a little different look tonight and keep the Sox guessing. He's going to have to slow that offense down and go at least 6. We shall see
I am not sure if we are disagreeing or not on regular season means nothing (I hope we are because it's fun lol). I consider the Ms and As lesser teams than TB-NY-TOR. Just my opinion but I'm right. The central division in both leagues is the current example. A bunch of mediocrity, 3-4 teams to beat up on and you play them 15+ times. My 2019 Twins were the perfect example offensively. 8 guys hit 20HRS, 5 hit 30HRs. Destroyed the MLB team HR record. I may be dead before that record gets challenged. They destroyed KC-DET-CHISOX pitching all season, then got swept by the Yanks again. Yes LA and SF are messing with my theory. They are pretty damn solid IMO. I thought one would be in the hunt for the WS.

Scares might be the wrong word. E-Rod, Eovaldi, and tonight's starter Pivetta are all capable major league starters. While they may not be lights out, they can hover right around the quality start benchmark of 3 ER / 6 IP, even against good teams. And right our offense is on fire, so we don't need 1 ER / 7 IP aces. My concern is who closes in a tight game.
