It would be nice to be able to import a graph or picture into posts.

From our summer garden:

Photo was entered in the form:

This chart was pulled from yahoo with copy and paste for url info placed inside [IMG] [/IMG] brackets.

When I tried it didn't work. I went Ctrl C, then Ctrl V. What did you do?

thanks

To copy the flower photo which is located on flickr I right clicked and choose 'copy image location' then paste between the [img] brackets.

For the yahoo basic graph, I just right clicked and chose 'copy image location'. Then when clicking paste between the [img] brackets, the url was inserted.

Here is what I typed into the two lines, but IMG must go inside the front brackets as well.

This was done on a mac, so getting the image location may be a little different on a pc.

Any photo that is posted must be hosted on a server so that its url can be included inside the [IMG] brackets.

Thanks very much for the guidance hendi_alex! Very helpful.

On an unrelated note, just curious, do you go by Alex, or Hendi, for short? Or prefer the full hendi_alex?

Alex. Hendi was an old nickname from students when I taught high school level science.

I'm just getting used to the features here. Would be nice if there was an overview. I found a link that showed how to enhance posts with url's, photos, etc. but can no longer find the info. Just figured out how to add an avatar today. Will go back and add a signature right now.
