I'm not a developer, just someone in New York who likes tinkering with side projects, and I've been trying to figure out whether any of these AI app builder subscriptions are worth it for a hobbyist. The pricing models seem all over the place — some charge monthly, some by credits, some by usage tiers, and it's hard to tell what a realistic small project would actually cost. My main worry is committing to a monthly plan and then either blowing through credits fast or paying for capacity I never touch. I don't have a budget for anything enterprise-level; this would be a small personal build. I came across some third-party pricing information online, but the numbers only go so far without real usage patterns behind them. Curious how others here who've played with these tools think about the trade-off between flat monthly fees and usage-based billing. What's been your experience?
